well made cables

Ethan Eu on Nov 19th 2021

When I bought these but I was expecting it to come with a 50 amp anderson connector but it actually came with a 175 amp anderson, which is larger than the 50 amp. Luckily I had a couple of those from jaycar so I made another set of cables with a fuse which I connected to dc-dc charger and this set to the battery bank, which allows me to easily connect the charger to different sets of battery banks. On hindsight with the amount of current the dc charger puts out I think this might be oversized, but on the other hand, quite safe. These are well made, good quality cables. One important thing to note though, is that it comes with an Anderson SJ175 connector. The ones that I could find in jaycar and other places was the Anderson SB175 connector, which is not able to fit because the SJ175 has an extra notch so I had to cut it off in order to connect the two.

When I bought these but I was expecting it to come with a 50 amp anderson connector but it actually came with a 120 amp anderson, which is larger than the 50 amp.
