- Enhanced Anti-Corrosion Aluminum Frame
- Fast and Easy Installation
Sustainable and Reliable Electricity Output
Renogy 320W Monocrystalline Solar Panel can provide about 1600 Watt-hours of electricity per day (5-6 hours of direct sunlight), ensuring a consistent output over 80% for 25 years.
Less Space, More Energy
Compared with three Renogy 100W solar panels (41.8x20.9x1.4 in), one 320W solar panel (65.6 x 39.4x1.4 in) takes less space and generates more power, allowing fewer modules and higher output on your rooftop.
Advanced PERC Solar Cells
The passivation layer added to the backside of PERC solar cells makes them different from monocrystalline photovoltaic cells. The layer increases the panel's energy generation by boosting efficiency.
Efficient Performance
Bypass diodes protect the solar cells from overheating and allow the solar panel to continue working by bypassing the underperforming cells when acci-dental shading happens.
High Transparency
The anti-reflective low iron-tempered glass has a high transparency of up to 91.5%, allowing direct sunlight to be converted to more electricity. Also, this glass is rugged enough to resist external impact.
Durable Design
The corrosion-resistant aluminum frame, and the glass that can withstand 5400Pa of snow loads and 2400Pa of wind pressure allow solar panels to stay outside for a long time without damage or performance loss.

Package Includes

320W Mono Solar Panel

RNG-320D Solar Panel

4/6/8/10 x

1. Is each panel 320W or a whole combination? What about the size and weight?

320W per panel. The dimension of one panel is 65.6 x 39.4 x 1.4 inches and the weight is 39.7 lbs. Currently, we have 4-pack, 6-pack, 8-pack, and 10-pack available.

2. Can I use this panel for the roof of an RV?

Yes, you can, as long as the roof of your RV has enough space to install it. Please confirm the size: 65.6 x 39.4 x 1.4 inches. In addition, this 320W solar panel is also ideal for residential and commercial rooftop systems, solar power plants, and more. It's suitable for roof mounting and ground mounting.

3. Can these panels be used on a grid tied system?

Sure, these solar panels are grid-tied. These 320W solar panels work with on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid systems. But please note that when using them on on-grid and hybrid systems, we recommend that you contact a licensed solar installer who is familiar with on-grid/hybrid setups. On-Grid solar system means solar power equipment (array or solar panel) is connected to the utility grid, while Off-Grid refers to a system that is not connected to the grid. An Off-Grid system is not affected by grid blackouts. A Hybrid system is when your solar panels remain connected to the grid's power lines and have a backup battery system to store excess power.

4. How many kWh a day do this solar panel produce?

If your solar panels are exposed to 5 hours of direct sunlight per day, it can provide an average of 1280-1600 Watt-hours (1.28 kWh-1.6 kWh) of electricity (depending on sun availability).

5. Do these panels have pre-drilled holes on the back?

Yes, they have. The pre-drilled holes help you to install the solar panel fast and secure.

6. Are there any brackets for the panels to be attached to the roof?

There is no mounting bracket included in the packaging list. BUT you can find Tilt Mount Brackets, Flat Roof Tilt Mounts, and Z Brackets from the Renogy official store to meet your needs.

7. Why are my solar panels underproducing?

The performance of a solar panel is influenced by a number of factors. The most common environmental conditions - indirect sunlight, temperature rise, cloudy sky, dirt, and stain build up on the top low iron-tempered glass - will lead to a reduced power output. Moreover, the conversion efficiency of a solar panel may decrease over time. Renogy guarantees a five-year/95% efficiency rate, a ten-year/90% efficiency rate, and a 25-year/80% efficiency rate for all solar panels.

8. Are all the wires included in the solar panel package for connecting it to my battery?

The solar panel only contains a built-in MC4 lead (female and male connectors). No extra cables are included for connecting to your battery. You'll need to get an additional charge controller, adapter kits, and tray cables. If you need any of these installation accessories, please visit Renogy's official website store to purchase them.

9. Can this solar panel be adapted to a 12V Marine Battery or 48V Lithium Battery?

Yes, it can. The open circuit voltage of this 320W solar panel is 40.1V. So it's suitable to use for charging your 12V Marine Battery and 48V Lithium Battery (by connecting at least two solar panels in series). You need to connect the solar panel(s) to a Charge Controller supporting a 12V or 48V system. Meanwhile, it’s also highly compatible with major micro inverters.

10. Can I connect these to a different brand of panels? The ones I have are also 320 watt, just different brand.

We suggest you use a solar panel from a different brand with the same Open Circuit Voltage as this Renogy solar panel to ensure a high power output.

11. What's the main feature of the black aluminum frame?

The black aluminum frame adds an enhanced anti-corrosion coating, allowing the panel to be used outdoors to withstand harsh environments, such as extreme heat, heavy rain, and more.

A higher watt means more watts in your daily spendable battery bank forevermore! Shippers do need to keep in mind the weight as do people installing on rooftops why do I prefer yard-mounted systems if no shading is a real issue a solar pathfinder is awesome Go Solar !!! Bank with lithium if you can¡

Exceeded Specs Once Installed, With No Shipping Damage. Woo-Hoo !

Posted by James on Dec 8th 2023

Work great! Replaced 2 (out of 3 in the small array) Renogy 270w, 24vt polycrystalline panels destroyed in a 75+mph line squall, when the whole anchored mount came out of the ground and went airborne. (Let me interject at this point . . . the original installer of this system I ultimately inherited, was unbelievably ignorant surrounding most all aspects of his installation. My advice? If you contract a complete system solar installer, seriously do your DD and if possible, get recommendations and inspect his/her completed projects. I have had to add myriad protections, calibrate all components to match factory engineering specs, and completely replace the ground mount array supports. I have decades of experience to match my low-voltage education and certifications/licensure(s), but most people having a system installed will hardly ever know what they're buying. The original owner found this guy on FB and just took for granted someone on FB would tell her the truth about his qualifications. He, of course, didn't! )

Retirement cabin runs on 6 panels

Posted by Judy Lee on Dec 8th 2023

I bought 6 of the 320W panels 3 years ago for an off grid cabin. They were on sale! I am now retired living there full time. I was surprised how much power they produce when it is cloudy. One benefit on a cloudy day is the clouds diffuse light and the panels generate power long before or after they normally would but with reduced output. Better than none! Considering 12 more panels for my RV. I have 2 A/Cs there. They will be mounted flat which isn't optimum. 3 roof mounted panels face morning sun and 3 face evening sun. 2 EPEver 4215 40A MPPTs, one for each string. Recently upgraded battery - 16 Eve 280A in a 24V 8S2P configuration yielding ~ 15KW-hr of storage. I use a Giandel 4000 W inverter. Previous 5K battery required generator for overnight A/C. Now I don't. These panels power my cabin, my garage and tools, and my new electric yard tool center shed with a riding electric mower, 2 electric push mowers, various electric yard tools and a small air compressor. In Summer, they produce almost all of the power I require necessitating rare occasional generator usage. The computer and monitor are 250-300W which are the largest year round draw on average. I run an 8000 BTU A/C all night on battery alone. I also have a water cooler and 7L mini-fridge/ freezer that run all the time. Keep in mind, I can only charge the riding mower when I have enough sun. The charger draws ~1500W. Since it is only used once a week or so, several days can partially charge it.
